ScanImage® Free was funded by a NIH R24 grant from 2014 to 2018. The ScanImage® Free download is provided 'as-is' under the Apache 2.0 license. Until further funding is secured, Vidrio is no longer able to develop, maintain and support ScanImage® Free.

Vidrio provides ScanImage® Basic and ScanImage® Premium as maintained and supported alternatives.

Download Monitoring Policy

We log the IP addresses of those who download our software and store them for internal business use. The log is stored indefinitely but is private and not shared with third parties. Furthermore, we limit the usage of this data to the analysis of the general continental location of our current user base.
